How to Assemble AN Fittings

Required Tools & Assembly Basics

Assembling AN Fittings is relatively straightforward with the correct set of tools and a bit of patience. To get started you’ll need the following materials:

  1. A well-mounted and sturdy vice
  2. Aluminum or nylon soft vice jaw AN inserts
  3. Aluminum AN wrench
  4. Masking Tape
  5. An abrasive cutoff wheel

Step 1: Prep the hose for cutting

Cutting the hose is arguably the most important part of the process. Without a clean cut, the fitting will not want to assemble.
