Fitment is confirmed without vehicle modification for 986.1 (97-02) and 986.2 (03) model years with the removal of the lower grills. Also fits 996.1 (97-01) and 996.2 (02-06) model years.
When ordering please notify us if your application is for 996, which requires an additional 6 3/8” length to be added to the bar over 986.
This hitch replaces your entire inner rear bumper bar bolting directly to the frame, it exposes a hitch receiver behind the license plate.
Included is a swing-up mount for the license plate, that allows you to swing the plate up and slide your hitch in. When not in use, the vehicle retains the factory appearance and can also use the factory bumperettes, though it is pictured here with our optional off-road rear bash bar.
